Three folder activities boards, three different themes - each accompanied by cut-apart cards containing over 500 questions divided into two difficulty levels. The cards have Level I questions on one side and Level II questions on the other, allowing participation of students with diverse abilities.

Question types include:

• Antonyms
• Synonyms
• Multiple meaning words
• Describe the category
• Make a sentence
• Analogies
• Parts/whole

Number codes on the board spaces correspond to question types on each card. You may ask questions in accordance with the number codes or disregard the codes and select questions yourself, using one type of question or any combination depending on student needs.

The Language Skill Surveys may be used to teach, practice and assess in conjunction with Curriculum-Integrated Thematic Language Units or with other instructional units.
